Sick Cormorant
What do you do if you can't do proper wildlife photography? You just grab one! The only thing is you have to cope with some fingers in the shot, but apart from that, it's just like the real thing!
This Cormorant (Phalacrocorax carbo) was found in a pile of rubble, weak and underfed, after which it was brought the bird shelter I'm working for. It had to be fed by tube. Lots of other new cases today, such as a goose with both eyes completely closed and damaged and a beautiful kestrel.
This Great Bittern (Botaurus stellaris) was already in the shelter. Mean fellow this one is!
Happy blipping people!
