Last Moments at Laykin
We had to be away by 10am so were up early to get everything together and pack the car. The last thing I did was to set up the tripod for this final holiday blip.
Arriving at Laykin last Saturday seems like much more than a week ago. The place itself was fantastic. The kitchen and everything in it was absoultely top spec, the beds were incredibly comfy and the views were stunning. We'll definitely be back at some point.
Catherine and Scott were heading to Sleaford to stay with Scott's brother and celebrate Catherine's actual birthday. They dropped Pat and Joanne off at Darlington the get the train home. Our car was stuffed to capacity so no room for extra passengers.
We stopped at Tebay on the way home but it was so busy that we decided to have lunch in the car. We kept Orla entertained the whole way home by drip-feeding her toys and playing here favourite music.
