The Great North 2014 ...

An amazing day on Newcastle's Quayside. My nephew completed the Mini Great North Run (1.5K) in 3rd position (untimed) and my niece completed the Junior Great North Run (4K) in 16th position in a time of 18.15. So proud of them, they were just brilliant!

Then it was over The Tyne to the Great North City Games. Wow, that was amazing too.

It was so difficult to pick a photo from the many many I took that captured the atmosphere, the buzz, the music, the chatter and the athletes, but this will have to do. You really had to be there ...
