The day started dull and wet so took a quick trip into town to pick up some bits and pieces for decorating and then headed home to start painting the spare bedroom. We have visitors coming to stay in a few weeks and the room is in dire need of an uplift! Having painted the ceiling and washed down all the walls I took a break this afternoon to go get myself a blip.

The afternoon saw the cloud lift and the sun come out but there were still showers about. Being short of time I took myself down to the Varigill River, just outside Portree and walked down to the estuary.
