Spring?

I looked into the backyard this morning and saw that a few of the daffodil, crocus, and tulip bulbs I planted last fall have begun to push up through the earth. They are covered in twigs and leaves that have blown or washed down from the surrounding trees during recent rainstorms, but they're there, sure enough! The promise of spring . . .
