Another day, another tick
The sun setting behind Lundy Island this evening.
I'm very behind with my blipfotos entries. There is a good reason for this: it's because we've been busy and we've been having fun, and I've been too tired to use my brain in the evenings - even to recall and record what I've done.
Today is the penultimate day of Tess's summer holiday. I wrote a list of things I wanted her/us to do before she went back to school, and watching the setting sun was one of them. Tick.
It's a good month for sunsets: any later in the season and they're disappearing behind Baggy Point too soon, any earlier in the season and you have to stay out until 10pm to see them. September is a brilliant month for loads of reasons.
There was a slight blip in our staycation today because Richard had to work, but I managed to do loads of washing and sort out the greenhouse a bit and wince at the state of the garden. And we decided this morning that we would still make today count.
And we did. We even managed to drag Joel out to tonight's little beach soirée
I will come back and fill in the other days when I feel I have time.
