One, two, three....

After a murky start we ended the day with sunshine for my Goddaughter's party.

We went to support the nursery annual BBQ at lunchtime. I had volunteered to help and was put in charge of the cake stall. My chocolate cheesecake brownies went down really well I'm pleased to report. There were cakes galore but I did my best to sell them all. There was a coconut shy, hook-a-duck, tombola, raffle, bouncy castle...who could ask for more? Well I guess it would have been good to have won the picnic hamper in the raffle but you can't have everything now can you?

Fab party for little H had its own bouncy castle and DIY face paints. I painted miniman a snake face but it lasted for all of about five minutes before it was wiped across the back wall of the castle. As you can see the candles had to be blown out more than once.

Quite frankly at this age I think they'd be happy to go to someone's house and take turns blowing out candles for half an hour, eat some food, run round the garden a couple of times & take home a party bag.

When does life get so complicated?
