Viva Las Vegas

Arrived safely in this crazy city. It's currently 18.00 (02.00 Sunday morning back at home) and we've been up for 22hrs. A long old trip over here which almost saw us miss our connection in Chicago. Rather than going to sleep we soldiered on and walked around the vast MGM (where the lion statue is on the right. Straight in front is New York New York). Both are directly opposite our hotel. I've never seen anything like it in MGM. Theatres, 14 restaurants, slot machines and casino tables everywhere and that's before the 2,000 plus hotel rooms on top. Next Saturday there is a World title boxing match right in the middle of the hotel with 30,000 people. We then walked down the Las Vegas strip in 37 degrees whilst taking in the fountain display at the Bellagio. My this place, although not necessarily to our taste, certainly has the wow factor. Disappointed to only have seen 3 Elvis's so far ....

I can tell already half of the evenings are going to be spent deciding on what Blip photo to show...
