The Old Winch at Boulder Bay

I walked along the coastal track this afternoon, from Taylors Mistake to Boulder Bay. My intention was to photograph the boulders, including some of the delightful little cottages, but this winch caught my eye as well. I doubt it's been used for many a year!

Tomorrow was supposed to be the 'end date' for my house repairs, the date when I could move back into the house. There's a revised 'end date' now - 25 November. I wonder if that'll be the last one! We're having a site meeting on Tuesday, to discuss the plans for demolishing and rebuilding the garage. I'm sure it'll get finished one day, hopefully this year.
