Moscow #867

It's City Day in Moscow today and the city is celebrating it's 867th birthday since founding in 1147 - that date is generally recognized as the first recorded reference in history.

The blip is of fireworks over the Kremlin. I used a technique using a 'bulb' setting and a black cloth (my t-shirt!) to throw over the lens and end the exposure. Needs refinement but seems to work quite well .. see it in large.
