An Old Forth Crossing

As REO was at the movies, FMO and I went for a walk over the road bridge to check on progress of the new Forth bridge. There is already some of the deck in place on the south side, and the huge piers are in place like Forth Colossus'.

The Rail Bridge was resplendent in the evening sun.

Earlier in the day, before picking REO up from her short shift at the RSPB I had a great thrill watching a kingfisher dashing up the Leven Water - did get a very long shot, and will try again at a later date...
