It's my Birthday & my 365th day with Blip

My day was organised by Meg which started with breakfast Jamie Oliver style, lovely presents followed, thank you so much.

We had cake at a gorgeous cake shop in Brighton which we had talked about on many an occasion but never actually done, so it was great to finally experience. Another surprise arrived - Ryan travelled up from Devon to have a slice of cake with us, how about that !

The whole day and evening was truly a 'Mum's birthday' - I think all mums would agree being a mum is the best present anyone could have.

Every year on my birthday week there is a community firework display and this year it was actually on the 6th so my birthday was truly marked with a "boom".

Last year on this actual date I first entered the daily blip life and I have thoroughly enjoyed focusing on taking pictures, not always perfect and not all days due to sickness and work commitments etc but I'm still here !

I chose this picture for the squirrel as I have seen many a fabulous picture shot by my photographer friends - this one is Barbarella style <3 - oh and at the cafe I chose lemon and champagne cake with peppermint tea which I can truly recommend lol
