Highlights' Appeal

This image of Patrick Hughes' reverse perspective (reverspective) shows clearly its working... the most distant part is painted in lighter colors as to attrackt our focus there on instant + the most distant image is painted on the piece nearest to the spectators' eyes & nose!

The white and highlighted piece here shows clearly that it attrackts our attention immediately and sets off our interpretation ~ I'd known this theory in the back of my head, but this image shows so clearly what happens I like to share it with you and wonder what you notice
