The seat

This is the next stage of my project to re-upholster a favourite rocking chair. After the stage with the baler twine suspension, I placed a plywood tcut-out and several layers of synthetic cushioning, then painstakingly sewed a piece of Harris Tweed to cover the seat. (And it was slow and pains-taking!) The next stage is to cover the back part - I think I will postpone that for another day!
