Wotan the Eagle

Robin has been working away a lot recently so it has been lovely to have a weekend together with no packing of bags and prepping for the week ahead.

Today we visited the Cotswold Falconry Centre near Moreton in Marsh. What a wonderful selection of raptors we saw. There was an 80 minute display of an owl, a falcon and two eagles flying. The falcon disappeared for about 30 minutes but came back to base before the display ended. It was wonderful to see the birds soaring and swooping and wolfing down dead baby ducklings! I am spoilt for choice for a blip but have decided to share this image of handsome Wotan the Bald Headed Eagle. (Worth looking Large)
