Through the pain barrier

Today was the annual runners' marathon.

The route has been changed for the first time this year, and I found a perfect spot from where I could take photographs; close to the finish, near an 'artistic' curve in the fence, and on a slight incline. A perfect spot for a good shot!

It was a warm day, and the pain on the faces of the runners at the closing of the 10 miles was quite obvious.
