Festive Narrowboats

This morning I went to Maesbury Canal Festival, a small village event to raise money towards the restoration of the Montgomery Canal. There were stalls (where I bought a plant for the garden) and decorated narrowboats on the canal. I met a friend who was on one of the stalls, as I hadn't seen her for about a year so it was good to catch up.

This afternoon my brother came over for a couple of hours which again was enjoyable then gardening to do some of the many autumn jobs.
