Havest Time

Out on the bike after a couple of weeks. The weather was at its best as I cycled up to Newton Upon Rawcliffe.

I spotted this view through the trees and thought it summed up both the time of year and the morning light.

Watched the rugby this afternoon to see one of my sons colts team make his Premiership debut for Exeter. He was playing prop and although signed as a prospect for the future he has enjoyed a good pre-season and deserved a starting place today.

Sat down to enjoy our evening meal and then discovered a drip of water and slight bulge in the ceiling. Eventually tracked it down to a joint in the pipe work in the bathroom. Now awaiting a call from our plumber!
