Big day

Alf starts Secondary school tomorrow a big day indeed. Today however it was a also a big day as I passed my old leather jacket on to him:0 He'll soon grow. In other Alf growing up news he cut the grass with the tractor on his own, with me peeping between my fingers as he hurtled around doing tight turns by the river. Clearly I am exaggerating, he was very, very careful and did a fine job.

A fair bit of gardening today, levelling off some grass, lots of picking up sticks and putting them on the fire.

Roast dinner and a Grand Prix and some sunshine, what a fine way to finish the weekend.
