Getting ready for take-off

I found this little ladybug wandering on the ground and I thought I'd put it on my apple tree to make sure no one steps on it.

I guess the bug was a bit cold because at first it seemed to really fight to stretch its wings. After a couple minutes in the sun on a leaf it suddenly started up the leaf really fast, stretched its wings wide open and flew away.

I wonder if this is the same ladybug I saw on a pepper plant on our backyard later in the afternoon.
