dedication

Today was our new godson's dedication. There were 6 babies being dedicated at the Crown church in Handsworth and each set of parents earnestly explained why they'd given their children their names - all very spiritual reasons. I loved my friend Sarah Joy a little bit more when her turn came round and she managed to say with a straight face "we named our son Toby because we really love the Toby Carvery"! It was a joke of course and we were honoured to be able to thank God for their amazing son and pray for his future walk with God.

I totally failed to capture a blip of the main man as I was too busy catching up with Z and S. There's something about seeing old friends which is so uplifting, our time together definitely helped my currently aching heart. As you can see Eve felt equally elated by the presence of a bouncy castle.
