Passerine Enemy No. 1

A male sparrowhawk on the bird table this evening - totally oblivious of all the birds (passerines) going completely mad at his presence. I think he was in fact watching for an easy vole dinner, as there's quite a lot who eat the fallen seed from the bird feeders.

Utterly crazy few weeks getting everything ready for a big 3 day craft fair at RHS Rosemoor! I try & take pictures every day, but I just don't get to upload them to the laptop daily to put onto this. So it's hit & miss & if I disappear for long times, it's not because I don't want to blip, it's because I'm pushed for time!
