Celebrations!

Miss B turned 8 years old today!
What a brilliant day we spent celebrating a wonderful girl!
And the sun shone gloriously, just like the day she was born.

Presents in pyjamas. Breakfast with a candle in it; croissants, grapes and brioche (as requested). More presents then church, where more birthday rituals at the kids group were had. Back home to more presents (she was very self controlled the way she spread out the opening ceremonies!) Bacon butties for dinner, with a candle in it. Strawberries and cream for pudding, with a candle in it. Playing UNO. Making home made pizzas, with a candle in it, and eating all her favourite things (as requested); salamis, dough balls, olives... Chocolate birthday cake that made her eyes pop with 'flying butterflies' and pink and white candles (as requested). The cosmos flower, grown by Master B, was an extra; beautiful, just like her.

She and her brother went to bed so very happy, with a few butterflies of their own thinking about tomorrow. They were bursting with love for each other as they snuggled to sleep. They're incredible.
