She's just one of those corners in my mind,

Today, is Boy's Birthday, and those of you who are unfortunate enough to know me "over on the Other Side..." I have been celebrating with hourly posts detailing memories of his Birth Day.,and suitably funny photos.

Here, in Scotland, 3500 miles away from my Boy, I have celebrated by recreating moments of the birth with my partner in Creation of the Boy. He has had enough of me and has asked that I leave the house for a while.

We took a walk along the Banking... there was an air show on in Prestwick, and a Music festival in the town, so it was very quiet. That's okay I like quiet.

As we walked, we heard a loud rumbling noise, and realised that the visiting Lancaster Bombers were taking off and heading away again.

One flew inland and then turned and headed straight over us - the other headed off straight off the end off the runway to the sea and then the two of them flew as one over the sea towards Ireland.

It was actually quite chilling to stand there and hear that noise that you hear in war films and watch these two magnificent ladies of the air fly over us... you could almost put yourself back in time, watching the planes take off, and hoping that they will come back.

This even, was the Last Supper. Toolibelle is heading back to Edinburgh tomorrow ; but fear not. She is coming home again next weekend, so that we can houf the rest of her junk up with her. I cannot believe how calm and chilled she (and we) are about it all. I still remember the trauma of the first "last supper".

But our day was not finished yet. Tooli has been running all summer, 6 - 8 kilometres. tonight, before she leaves she wanted to do a 10K, so we left at 7.55, me on bike accompanying her,we headed along the bike path. Both of our gps went doolally, but we were back at 8.52, and I am SO glad I went with her. It was pitch black when we got back.

And BOY was on Skype. There he was, sitting in the dining room laughing with his Dad.

I love both my kids soooooooo much. It was the best thing, so spend time with both of them today.

:-)
