Farewell NATO

Well, there were many shots I took today that I thought I could use, but I chose this. I wasn't happy with my shots of HMS Duncan - couldn't get a decent angle from where we were stood. I think the ships have been well documented by others, so I went for this close up of the police on the water.

We had a lovely afternoon down at Cardiff Bay, where they had a Forces Day. The kids loved climbing onto tanks, and holding guns and watching the boats soaking the crowds. It was a warm afternoon and I think my favourite part was listening to the RAF band outside of the Millenium Centre, who were playing Springsteen and The Stones!
