Buskerfest Event

We walked two blocks from our apartment to First Street for an annual event called Buskerfest. There was also the 18th annual Lobsterfest going on two blocks in the other direction - Long Beach the home of so many festivals! Back to Buskerfest, the concept is that bands compete on three flatbed trucks set up on the street for wooden nickels. Each gets a half hour set and at the end of the evening the bucket with the most nickels gives that band the win. This solo guy played some great acoustical music and I really liked the way this close up shot showed the action of his fingers, plus the colors were interesting as well.
