Clydesdale Horse
The Clydesdale is a breed of draught horse derived from the farm horses of Clydesdale, Scotland, and named after that region.
Sunday was a commemorative day for commencement of WW1. This blip reminded me of the number of animals who never return during active service.
According to the UK Mirror in Jul 31, 2014 there were approximately 9Million unsung heroes: dogs, horses and carrier pigeons help lead the Allies to victory.
