Bo'ness Hill Climb
A day out in Bo'ness (which incidentally is the most 'yes' place I've visited), mainly for the Hill Climb at Kinneil House. It must have been a good photography spot, since the official photographers were directly in front of me and they and their gear were in almost every shot!. I did manage this little Riley, with its smart saltire livery.
Also we took a trip on the Bo'ness and Kinneil Railway, a surprisingly fun hour long trip in restored carriages and a steam-hauled loco, to boot. Actually we tried to do too much, since we didn't have time for the Museum, which is much bigger than expected, tea in the 'Brief Encounter'-ish waiting room, and a good rummage around the shop.
There was a chance a bit of walk around the town, which has some impressive architecture, as well as retaining a lot of independent shops including a bookshop. All in all a place I've definitely marked down for a revisit, maybe for one of the Kinneil House open days
