Lily the Pink

Among the many perennials in flower at Arduaine just now is this so-called Kaffir Lily, Hesperantha (formerly Schizostylis) coccinea 'Mrs Hegarty'. The original species is red and comes from South Africa - there are various pink and also white forms in cultivation.

Seems to enjoy the west coast climate!
