Mia's X-ray

When we felt a hard bony 'lump' on our cat Mia's underside at the end of last week, I feared the worst. However, her X-ray today showed she has a protruding sternum - a part of the her breastbone which should be flat sticks out. You can see this pointing down in the photo. This is not anything we need worry about, thank goodness. It can be present from birth - but we wonder why we hadn't felt it before - or seemingly it can also be the result of an injury - and we have no idea when that happened either. Not that it matters - I am just happy it is nothing serious!
