First day of secondary school!!

At the bus stop with our neighbour Laurie.
A reluctant pose ;-) I said if they didn't do it I would do it when the bus came!
They went off together and me, Laurie's mum and Dad and sister waved them off!
I was quite tearful but Zeb reassured me and offered to go and meet the bus later…

I took Zeb to carluccios for lunch and we talked about the coming 2 years, he starts his GCSEs tomorrow, he is quite nervous, I advised him to work hard, get all his work in on time and ask for help! I think the fact that he is nervous is good as it shows he cares!

We decided that Gulli would be fine coming home and he was, he arrived home at the right time having had a great day! He got the bus back with his friend Owen. he really likes his science teacher, he made some new friends but doesn't know their names yet, they did PE which was running and he was in the top 20 with a time of 12 minutes. They did PSHCE (Personal, Social, Health and Citizenship Education) and were given homework. he has a school planner, a locker key and a lunch card and didn't lose anything!!

We skyped Dad in Spain where he is with his dad who is 80 today, his wife Bambi and Max's brother Conal, it's lovely that Max was able to hear all about it! A big step which he has taken very well, well done Gulli!!!!

Today was just year 7 so I'm sure tomorrow will be very different with the whole school there!!!
