Inside Out and Outside In (or Stairway to Heaven)

I was at the farm again today and thoroughly enjoyed the warm sunshine. Helie and Chris are hoping to get the barn yard roof repaired, hence the ladder. I'm entering this shot as the pattern theme in the September Techniques challenge.
