Valentine Rose Hips

A different take on roses for Valentine's day.

I've blipped Rose Hips before when in full, luscious and plump bloom and wrote about how they reminded me of my childhood when I used to sneak surreptitious glugs of Delrosa Rose Hip Syrup straight from the bottle when my Mum wasn't about. Most of the hips had withered from this bush but one or two were still hanging on to their strong red blush.

Glad we've been out for a walk already today as it's now starting to rain. Oh well, will now just need to stay indoors and watch the Italy V England Six Nation's match on the TV. Couldn't possibly comment about who I'll be supporting..let's just say, may the best team win.
