Plum Cake

Yesterday I shared the picture of the Victoria plums that I helped to pick from my friend's tree. I decided to find the Nigella recipe for the plum cake that my friend had made, and I gave it a try. Although my cake tin was too big, making a much flatter cake, I don't think that it spoilt it in any way - I just cut it into bigger pieces!

It was very delicious - and the raspberries, also picked from their garden, went very well with it!
