Penarth pier

Well , here it is , Penarth Pier, South Wales . I have driven over 200 miles today to cross this off my list ! Penarth was such a lovely seafront . Many people on the pier waiting for the huge American war ship to pass through , which was apparently something to do with Barack Obama attending the NATO conference which has just come to a close at the Celtic Manor , Newport .Fortunately I am staying overnight in Newport, just a few junctions East on the M4, and now off to bed as I've an early morning start for a hospital appointment in mid Wales , before driving down to the Gower Peninsular, where I will be staying overnight before heading up to Aberystwyth pier, then a drive down to Bath for an overnight stay. Lovely weather for it ! :)
