10 special books

Last week I posted a photo of my bookshelf. The responses to this photo got me thinking about the books I have on my shelf that have inspired and influenced me and what they say about me. A friend of mine recently posted a list of 10 books that meant something to her on facebook and she encouraged her friends to do the same. Instead I have photographed 10 books that have been important to me in one way or another. Some of these have helped me improve and learn about myself, others have inspired and uplifted me. I realised that 5 of these are written from a child's preservative or about childhood and 1 was written for children. The children's book 'Chester' was given to me by that same friend that encouraged her friends to post a list of 10 books. She felt that the book would appeal to my wacky sense of humour and she was right!
