Concord Weir. GX1, Leitz Elmar 90mm.

I found myself at the Concord River again this morning at this spot overlooking a weir. To frame this Blip I sat on a lovely slab of dressed granite which had been placed there in memory of a couple who loved this vista. I understand why... In preparation for my return visit to Gropiushaus, I decided to try a pre-war Leitz lens which my late father bought in London in September 1939. The glass is uncoated and delivers a tack-sharp, low contrast image. Not bad for an old lady of 1937 vintage...
