An attic on the ground...

...I called this lovely room when I first saw it inspecting this house as a prospective rental. I couldn't think on the spur of the moment of 'ground floor'. It has pretty although subdued wallpaper I like and as its width is quaintly narrow - just wide enough to house a sewing table across it, my second thought was of the romance of writing in an attic. I really have a room for the first time ever I can dedicate to writing because it is comfortable and suitable, but more I am 'romantically' happy in it. Its charm includes the warmth the room naturally acquires through a stretch of windows you can see sun streaming through. By contrast the rest of the room looks dull. However, it is really is lovely and on the exterior is a drop down canvas blind that will help buffer the extreme heat of summer.
