The Ferryman

There's a lot of water in Holland and we don't have bridges or tunnels everywhere, so once in a while you'll encounter the ferryman.

In this case a very modest ferry designed only to bring pedestrians and cyclists across.

Oh yes, and the roof are made of solar panels!

Small ps :: today it's exactly 5 years ago - 09/09/09 - that I quit smoking and never ever touched a cigarette again. As I smoked almost two packs a day you can imagine I was high on the other ferryman's list for my final journey ;-))
Ever so glad with my healthy lifestyle sporting at least 4 times a week :-))))
