Chamenna Boschetta
Chamenna Boschetta is a tiny, simple herdsman's hut built in 1910 at over 2000 meters high on a hillside overlooking the Engadine valley. It is well cared for and is still in use when the cattle are taken up to the high pastures during the summer transhumance, which is part of the age old seasonal cycle. On a grey, rainy day it looked very welcoming.
