The colour of sand

It is amazing the different colours of sand. My favourites are the sand colours of the Western Isles, but this is also a nice colour. It is at Red Point Beach in Wester Ross. It actually is the same as the name Red. I don't think I have ever seen a beach so red. But in the early spring it is a lot lighter. It must be something to do with the sun!
