Well if you look close enough into that webcam you will see crossedxfingers taking a photo of me from her computer in Magdeburg at a completely different time of day.

Nice bit of fun this time travel lark.

Next I'm shooting wingpig in the lovely Edinburgh early in the morning before the tourists attack.

So some nice segues here - crossedxfingers is a student in Magdeburg, Dunedin (where I am) is a student town, and I am a lecturer. Crossedxfingers photo is of me beside a statue of Robbie Burns, aka Rabbie Burns, Scotland's favourite son, the Ploughman Poet, the Bard of Ayrshire and (in Scotland) simply as The Bard. Which leads us nicely to wingpig in Edinburgh.
