The long way home

A journey home that could have been accomplished in just over four hours took over 7 hours. The reason being the driver decided to take the scenic route along what can only be described as one of the best motorbiking roads I've ever been on.....pity I was stuck in a car. The B6367- twists, bends and not another car seen for 39 miles. Quick stop off at Birdoswald Roman Fort to see a stretch of Hadrian's wall and stretch the legs before the boredom of the m6 for the last leg of the journey. All in all a great end to a few days away. The pic is part of Hadrian's wall, which is another thing on my bucket list when I get fit enough!
