Hang on to a dream

What can I say, she's walking away
From what we've seen
What can I do, still loving you
It's all a dream

How can we hang on to a dream
How can it, will it be, the way it seems
How can we hang on to a dream.

The wiry shape in the picture is the remains of a tendril that once attached part of a Virginia Creeper to the garden shed.
In biology, a tendril is a specialized stem, leaf with a threadlike shape that is used by climbing plants for support, attachment. Generally it functions by twining around suitable hosts or other physical supports.
