Confession: I hate bagpipes!

Yes, I must admit this and I didn't really know how much until now that I've been in Edinburgh for a few days. In my mind, the sound of bagpipes goes in the same category as chalkboard screech, jazz and chinese folk music.

And still I enjoyed the Military Tattoo - what a great show!

But the day was more than just Military Tattoo and this fancy schmancy dinner at The Signet Library where we had our picture taken by a fellow diner. We started our day at the National Museum of Scotland, then went to see two brilliant comedy shows: Dara Ó'Briain (Work in progress at Assembly Checkpoint) and Phill Jupitus (Shirking Progress at The Stand Comedy Club). Both excellent! What a day! :)
