The Tour of Britain came through the Brecon Beacons today, and after missing out the past few years I made sure this was in my diary and that I was available. I saw them on the outskirts of Crickhowell and there was a good crowd lining the route as well. We waited about half an hour and within five minutes they’d all gone through, blink and you would have missed it, but it was worth it. On the way to Crickhowell we nearly bumped into three of the team buses, I think the satnav they were using sent them on a shortcut which was going to be a tight squeeze for them; luckily we met them right at the end of the single track lane.
