View from Roan Head.

The village you can see in the shot is Askham in Furness across the Duddon Channel.
At the time the tide was way out but was slowly on its way in again.Next time I go there I will make sure the tide is in. I think that would make a more interesting shot.

Looks more impressive in Large view.

Roan Head is just outside Barrow in Furness all owned and run by the National trust.
There is a small car park and one can walk onto the shore and literally walk for miles on sand, either northwards or southwards.
It is very popular with pet owners.

We hope to go further into the district tomorrow as today Lynsey has had some hospital appointments.
