An Edinburgh Landscape without the Castle?

Got up very early this morning to try a "sunrise" shot with new camera. Extensive research suggested sunrise was to be at 7.44 and the forecast was clear skies. Excellent.

The lighting, rain, cloud ceiling etc plan seems to have changed overnight however; instead tried not-to-gloomy landscapes. Not wholly successful but I did enjoy going back to bed at 8.30!
