A dog's life

Nothing worse than when you are a Great Dane with a boring office job. You just have to hang out the window and get some fresh air from time to time.

A rather fab day in London. Went to the OXO buildings where they have a lovely little exhibition of original historical maps of London. Then went up to the 8th floor viewing gallery overlooking the river and decided it was  so lovely we might as well have lunch, which as it turned out was fabulous.

Then walked up to the Museum of London for a couple of hours of dipping into the capital's history, and a rather long and weary walk back to Waterloo via Smithfield and Holborn.

Must be London's hard streets but today's three and a half miles felt a lot longer than yesterday's five along the coast...
