Yes? No? Maybe?

First Sunday of the month and its Spokes Ride day. We went to Midlothian. Unfortunately one person had a slight incident with a concrete bollard and came of their bike. Fortunately they were not too badly hurt, but the front wheel was completely buckled. Fortunately we weren't too far from Edinburgh, they got the bus to home, got a new wheel, and then cycled the bike back to Edinburgh.

The rest of us had an easy morning cycle to Bonnyrigg along cycle paths, then we headed inland to Carrington for a picnic lunch. After lunch it was up to the roads behind Temple to Gladhouse. Here we saw the Yes, large, the landowner has placed on the hillside. I'm not a sheep. I am still a Don't Know, I will vote, its too important not too. The views on the ride were pretty great regardless of your political view. ;-)

The route home was down to Penicuik, for afternoon tea, then through Bush to Fairmilehead and the end of the ride. Route details here: Spokes Ride
